We have been meaning to post these engagement photos for some time. My sister and her husband got married in December! We managed to fit in a quick downtown photo session shortly before the wedding day. We have been dying to do some downtown shots and finally found the perfect subjects. Since I couldn't seem to narrow down I decided to post several.

Children love to play in water. Thank goodness we didn't come upon this fountain till the end of the session. Her shirt was soaked after this drink. This is the third year we've photographed this cutie pie. I always love to see her dimpled smile and sparkly eyes.

This is not a great year for bluebonnets. We did manage to find a few to photograph this pretty girl and her adorable dog with, but had better luck finding other blooming spring flowers. I just love her pink dress with all the bright spring colors. Thanks M for being so fun and cooperative to photograph.

I have watched these three girls grow up over the last 8 years. All three of these girls are the nicest, sweetest girls you ever met. Any parent would love to raise girls like them. For some reason they loved babysitting my wild and crazy boys. Not only do the girls know my boys well, but their mom taught all three of mine P.E. in Pre-K. This family is so very special to me and I had so much fun taking their pictures.

First Christmas

We found that Downtown Conroe is a great place to get some cool urban shots. We really enjoyed taking a few of our seniors to this location. This was the second session we had with this beautiful girl and using an urban location made these pics different from the others.

Yesterday CeCe got to spend the day with this handsome senior and his beautiful mom. They toured The Woodlands with stops at ponds and sports fields and CeCe had a great time snapping away! One Year Old

This is our third time photographing Lilly. She was on our baby plan. On her 6 month session she was not so fond of the outside, but at this session she was having a blast. She gave us so many cute faces. She was such an easy 1yr old to photograph.

This is the time when we are taking senior pics right and left. Seniors are so fun because they actually care about looking good in the picture, so they cooperate with us. These pictures are from one of our sessions this past weekend. We were able to get some variety by going to 3 different locations. I think we purely tortured this guy, but we ended up with some awesome pictures so it was worth it.

The Athlete

This was our first time shooting part of a session in a dugout and on a football field. These are such natural setting for this athletic senior. He was so easy to work with and looked cool no matter what he did. We also did some shots at his home. It goes to say....keep people in their natural surrounding and you can get the best of them. Urban Senior Session

This session almost got rained out! Just a few minutes after we started taking pictures it started raining on us. If you look closely in the first picture you can see the rain coming down. We lucked out because it only lasted about 10 minutes and the rest of the time the weather was perfect. This downtown location was new for us and we loved it. It was so fun exploring around and finding fun places to work with. This cute senior was a little shy, but he warmed up and gave us lots and lots of great shots to choose from. Here are a few. After freezing to death on the first attempt.... two days later we were able to capture this cute family. The weather cooperated this time and everyone was happy. On this second attempt there was a fancy Studebaker to take pictures with. It was so nice....we were almost afraid to touch it. Little Jackson lit up when he got in. Life in the Country

Sunday we had a session with our really good friends who live in the country. It was so fun to take pics of them on their property. We even took their piano outside to capture some moments of Brooke playing with her daddy. They were so easy to photograph....the only trouble we had was keeping the dogs out of the picture.

Monday evening we had a photo session in the cold wind. It pretty much ruined our picture taking. We had to stop early and reschedule. However, it was not a total loss. We went on a road trip to downtown Houston with this handsome boy from The Woodlands Christian Academy. He was such a charmer and made the photo shoot a blast! This family is good friends of ours. We tried out a new location, The Arboretum...it is alway fun to have new places to take pics. There was a big fallen tree that we had them climb on for a few shots. If it would not have been hot and getting dark, we would have explored some more of the area.
